Four pickleball books for players over 60

Win more points without running more. Keep playing for years.

The drills, checks and practice cards from the channel, written out properly. Each book explains the real cause of a lost point in plain English, gives you drills you can do at open play, against a wall or with one partner, and cites a source for every fact. Smart before fast: position, placement, depth and patience instead of foot speed and swing speed. Nothing here asks you to hit harder.

Before you buy

Is this for you?

Probably yes, if…

  • You're past sixty and play recreational doubles, roughly 2.5 to 3.5.
  • Younger, quicker players and hard hitters take points off you.
  • You want the reason behind a fix, not another tip.
  • You play open play at a park, a club or a community center.
  • Your knees, hips or shoulders don't move like they used to.

Probably not, if…

  • You want a promise of a higher rating or more wins. These books don't make one.
  • You want video lessons. These are PDF books.
  • You're looking for a "secret" shot. Everything here is documented and sourced.
  • You have an injury or a balance problem. See a doctor or physical therapist first.

Questions

Common questions

Are these the same as the videos?

No. The videos introduce one idea at a time. The books cover each topic completely, with step-by-step drills, self-checks, practice cards and a source for every fact.

Who is Jenny?

Jenny is a digital, AI-generated character who presents the channel. The books are written in her voice and report what published sources say, each one cited. She is not a certified coach, has no students and reports no personal results.

Is this endorsed by any player, brand or association?

No. The books are not affiliated with or endorsed by any player, coach, tour, paddle maker or USA Pickleball. Names are used only to report documented facts, and each one is cited.

Will these books raise my rating or stop injuries?

No book can promise that, and these don't. They show where points are lost and what the evidence says about it, and Play Long reports what the injury studies found. None of it is medical advice.

Why is Play Long only in the Library?

It is the volume that ties the other three together: how to warm up, move and handle lobs so you can keep using everything in them for years. It is sold only as part of The Complete Smart Pickleball Library.

Do I need a new paddle?

No. Volume 4 explains what paddle weight and grip size change, who that helps and who it doesn't. Nothing in the books requires buying anything.

I'm in my 70s. Is this suitable?

It was written for that reader: small changes, short practice sessions and clear safety notes. If you have knee, hip, shoulder, balance or heart problems, check with your doctor before changing how you play.

What format are the books?

PDF, US Letter size, with large type. They open in any PDF reader on a phone, tablet or computer.

Will my card statement show a strange name?

The charge appears under the name of our checkout provider, shown on the payment page before you pay. If you don't recognize a charge, email us first and we'll sort it out.

How do refunds work?

Email hiddensecretsmedialabs@gmail.com within 30 days of purchase. We refund in full to the original payment method.
